Seeds have it easy in ITF tennis

Seeded players Nidhi Chilumula, Eetee Maheta and Hirono Watanabe of Japan registered comfortable wins in the first round of the KS Narayanan Memorial ITF Women's Futures tennis championship here today.
Chilumula outclassed Sai Samhitha with her steady game while Mehta and Watanabe were too good for their opponents, Reshma Ganapathy and Likitha Shetty respectively.
In another match, Amritha Mukherjee fought hard to win against Vaniya Dangwal after losing the first set.
