Sehwag used glasses during the Chennai Test without much success and it is widely believed that he chucked it for a more convenient contact lenses during the next Test match after which he was dropped from the squad.
But on Saturday, when Sehwag came into the field wearing rimless spectacles with red sides, doubts were again raised whether everything is okay as far as his reflexes are concerned.
Courtesy high-handedness of the designated IMG official, the media was barred from watching the training from close range and could only watch the proceedings from atleast 100 yards away, so it couldn't be determined whether he used the same while batting also.
Meanwhile, Karnataka batsman Bharat Chipli has been added as a replacement of Venugopal Rao, who has been ruled out of the tournament due to a Grade II hamstring tear. Chipli had earlier played for the Deccan Chargers.
