Select base metals decline in thin trade

Select base metals declined in an otherwise lacklustre non-ferrous metal market here today on stockists' selling amid reduced demand from industrial users.
Overseas, base metals were mixed on LME trade with further consolidation amid lack of catalysts to drive sentiment.
Tin dropped by Rs 5 per kg to Rs 1,285 from Tuesday's closing level of Rs 1,290 and lead fell by Rs 3 per kg to Rs 134 from Rs 137.
Nickel eased by Rs 2 per kg to Rs 677 from overnight close of Rs 675.
Copper scrap heavy also softened by Re 1 per kg to Rs 370.
