Select copper declines on subdued demand

Select copper declined at the non- ferrous metal market here today on stockists' selling amid lower demand from industrial users.
While, zinc and tin gained owing to fresh demand from alloy industries.
Copper scrap heavy moved down by Rs 3 per kg to Rs 395 from Thursday's closing level of Rs 398.
Copper cable scrap, copper armature and copper billets edged down by Rs 2 per kg each to Rs 403, Rs 382 and Rs 431 from previous closing level of Rs 405, Rs 384 and Rs 433, respectively.
Copper sheet cutting also softened by a Re per kg to Rs 377.
However, tin surged by Rs 5 per kg to Rs 1,365 from overnight close of Rs 1,360 and zinc added by Rs 2 per kg to Rs 212 as against Rs 210.
