Select edible oils strengthen on increased buying

Select edible oils prices strengthened by Rs 100 per quintal at the wholesale oils and oilseeds market today on sustained buying by vanaspati millers and retailers.
However, non-edible oil prices moved in a tight range in limited deals and settled around previous levels.
Traders said sustained buying by vanaspati millers and retailers to meet rising demand mainly kept select edible oil prices higher.
In the national capital, mustard expeller (Dadri) and cottonseed mill delivery (Haryana) oils advanced by Rs 100 each to Rs 6,700 and Rs 6,300 per quintal, respectively.
Groundnut solvent refined traded higher at Rs 1,275-1,350 from Rs 1,250-1,300 per tin.

Mustard pakki and kachi ghani oils moved up by Rs 50 each to Rs 1,200-1,250 and Rs 1,250-1,350 per tin, respectively.

Soyabean refined mill delivery (Indore) and soyabean degum (Kandla) oils also rose by Rs 100 each to Rs 6,950 and Rs 6,650 per quintal respectively.
Palmolein (rbd) and palmolein (Kandla) oils too higher by Rs 100 each to Rs 6,200 and Rs 6,000 per quintal, respectively.

Oilseeds: Mustardseed 2,950-3,050 and Groundnut Seed 2,150-2,900.
Vanaspati Ghee (15-litre tin) 1,060-1,290.
Edible oils: Groundnut Mill Delivery (Gujarat) 7,300, Groundnut Solvent Refined (per tin) 1,275-1,350, Mustard expeller (Dadri) 6,700, Mustard Pakki Ghani (per tin) 1,200-1,250, Mustard Kachi Ghani (per tin) 1,250-1,350, sesame mill delivery 8,600 Soybean Refined Mill Delivery (Indore) 6,950, Soyabean Degum (Kandla)6,650, Crude Palm Oil (Ex-Kandla) 5,200, Cottonseed Mill Delivery (Haryana) 6,300, Palmolein (RBD) Rs 6,200, Palmolein (Kandla) 6,000 and Coconut (per tin) 2,600-2,680.

Non-edible oils: Linseed 7,700, Castor 9,450-9,550, Neem 5,300-5,400.
