Select foodgrain prices fall

The prices of urad dal, moong dal, gram dal, maida and sooji decreased while those of other commodities remained unchanged in the wholesale foodgrains market here today.
The prices of urad dal and gram dal fell by Rs 100 per quintal to Rs 8,200 and Rs 3,800 from yesterday's rates of Rs 8,300 and Rs 3,900, respectively.
Moong dal prices decreased by Rs 200 per quintal to Rs 9,700 from its previous rate of Rs 9,900.
Maida (90 kg) and Sooji (90 kg) was down by Rs 100 to Rs 2,400 and Rs 2,500 from its last rates of Rs 2,500 and Rs 2,600, respectively.

Tur dal, sugar and wheat ruled steady.
Following are the wholesale rates of various agri- commodities (in rupees per quintal, except where stated otherwise): Thoor Dal Rs 7,300 Urad Dal Rs 8,200 Moong Dal Rs 9,700 Gram Dal Rs 3,800 Sugar Rs 3,200 Wheat Rs 2,400 Maida (90 kg) Rs 2,400 and Sooji (90 kg) Rs 2,500.
