Select metal prices decline on reduced demand

Select copper, nickel, tin, zinc, aluminium and brass prices declined further at the non-ferrous metal market here today due to stockist' selling amid reduced demand from industrial users.

Nickel and tin fell by Rs 5 per kg each to Rs Rs 925 and 1,435 from Thursday's closing level of Rs 930 and Rs 1,440, respectively.

Copper cables scrap, copper billets and aluminium ingots prices eased by Rs 2 per kg each to Rs 456, Rs 484 and Rs 153 from Rs 458, Rs 486 and Rs 155, respectively.

Copper armiture, brass utensils scrap, brass sheet cutting, aluminium utensils scrap and zinc prices softened by a Re per kg each to Rs 441, Rs 336, Rs 351, Rs 119 and Rs 240, respectively.
