Select pulses decline on sluggish demand

Prices of select pulses, led by rajmah and kabli gram, drifted up to Rs 100 per quintal on the wholesale pulses market today on subdued demand against easy availability of stocks.
Marketmen said besides subdued demand, adequate stocks in the market on increased arrivals mainly pulled down the prices.
In the national capital, rajmah chitra and kabli gram small variety moved down by Rs 100 each to Rs 6,400-9,400 and Rs 3,800-6,400 per quintal, respectively.
Moth, arhar and its dal dara variety were down by Rs 50 each to Rs 4,650-5,050, Rs 4,600-4,700 and Rs 6,150-6,350 per quintal, respectively.
Masoor small and bold followed suit and shed Rs 50 each at Rs 5,250-5,450 and Rs 5,250-5,550 per quintal, respectively.

Its dal local and best quality lost Rs 100 at Rs 6,000-6,100 and Rs 6,100-6,200 per quintal, respectively.

Masoor small 5,250-5,450, bold 5,250-5,550, Dal Masoor local 6,000-6,100, best quality 6,100-6,200, Malka local 5,700-6,000, best 5,900-6,000, Moth 4,650-5,050, Arhar 4,600-4,700, Dal Arhar Dara 6,150-6,350.
Gram 2,850-3,550, Gram Dal (local) 3,600-3,800, best quality 3,700-3,800, Besan (35 kg) Shakti bhog 1,430, Rajdhani 1,430, Rajmah Chitra 6,400-9,400,Kabli Gram small 3,800-6,400, dabra 2,700-2,800, imported 4,700-5,100, Lobia 4,200-5,800, Peas white 2,950-3,000 and green 3,000-3,100.
