Select pulses rose by upto Rs 100 per quintal at the wholesale pulses market today due to pick up in demand from retailers and dal mills.

Traders said besides upsurge in demand from retailers and dal mills, fall in supplies from producing regions mainly pushed up select pulses prices.

In the national capital, arhar and its dal dara variety went up by Rs 50 and Rs 100 to Rs 4,100 and Rs 5,700-7,600 per quintal, respectively.

Masoor small and bold also edged up by Rs 50 each to
Rs 3,550-3,750 and Rs 3,700-3,800 per quintal, respectively. Its dal local and best quality traded higher by Rs 100 each
Malka local and best too seen in retailers demand and
Gram Rs 3,750-3,850, Gram dal (local) Rs 3,800-4,200,
