Select sugar mills prices declined on weak demand

Prices of select sugar millgate eased at the wholesale sugar market in the national capital today owing to reduced offtake and ended a shade lower.
Traders said reduced offtake by stockists and bulk consumers mainly brought down a few mills prices.
In mill gate section, sugar simbholi and khatuli shed Rs 5 each at Rs 3,330 and Rs 3,310 per quintal.
Prices of Sakoti and Nazibabad also fell by Rs 5 each at Rs 3,175 and Rs 3,215 per quintal.
However, sugar spot prices maintained at previous closing levels on some support from retailers.
Following are today's quotations per quintal:

Sugar ready: M-30 Rs 3,350-3,510, S-30 Rs 3,340-3,500.
Mill delivery: M-30 Rs 3,140-3,360; S-30 Rs 3,120-3350.
Sugar mill gate (including duty): Mawana 3,270, Kinnoni 3,360, Asmoli 3,280, Dorala 3,310, Budhana 3,250, Thanabhavan 3,240, Dhanora 3,185, Simbholi 3,330, Modi Nagar Rs 3,220, Khatuli 3,310, Dhampur 3,190, Ramala 3,230, Bulandshar 3,175, Anupshar 3,200, Baghpat 3,240, Morna 3,240, Sakoti 3,175, Chandpur 3,140 and Nazibabad 3,215.
