Kerkar, who recently joined Congress, was AAP candidate from South Goa constituency in the Lok Sabha elections. She suffered defeat at the hands of BJP's Narendra Sawaikar. Congress candidate had stood second.
Kerkar alleged that during the polls AAP leaders "back-stabbed" her and worked for BJP which helped them emerge victorious.
"Ihad joined AAP in 2014 as at that point it (AAP) was looking as a people's party and following the ideology of (social activist) Anna Hazare," Kerkar told reporters here.
"AAP was always a B team of BJP," she alleged.
