Police acted on a complaint from Paritha Vani that her husband, Alexander, a senior General Manager of Aavin in this district "constantly harassed her for money for liquor and forced her to give the entire salary to him."
Vani, a doctor at Dharmapuri district government hospital filed a complaint at the all woman police station here today and showed the personnel her injuries, allegedly due to the torture by her husband. Alexander was then summoned there and arrested.
