The President of the Rajasthan Taekwondo Association Mahesh Lata told reporters that the Indian players selected for the Asian Games would also be participating in the championship which is being held in Jaipur for the first time.
It was in 2010 that the pink city had hosted junior National Taekwondo.
Many of the top Indian players like and local stars like Shivkumar, Surendra Bhandari, Chitra Singh and Nikita Meel would be seen in action during the championship which will have 33 teams including central police forces and army and 800 players from various states of the country participating in 16 weight categories.
