Separate cadre of public health professionals in Haryana

Chairing a meeting of the State Health Mission, he said there was need for bringing more efficiency in the management of government hospitals to ensure better health services to the people, an official release said.

Hooda said establishment of a separate institute with hospital and health management syllabus at PGIMS at Rohtak would impart public health professionals multi-disciplinary education.

Till now, medical practitioners were discharging administrative duties in government hospitals, which disturbed their professional functioning as a physician.
