Seven Delhi bound flights including two international ones were diverted today to the Jaipur airport due to air traffic congestion .
Two international flights including one from Bangladesh and another from China were among the flights that were diverted. Among the domestic ones that were diverted included flights from Bhubaneswar, Hyderabad, Bangalore and Pant Nagar, airport authorities said.
They said that the flights had to go round for long above New Delhi and were then diverted to Jaipur as they could not land at the airport in the national capital.
As the congestion eased, the flights departed for New Delhi, the officials said.
