Seven gang members arrested in Gzb

A notorious criminal and six members of his gang were arrested near Loni railway station, police said today.
Anil Painda, Rakesh, Bheem, Prashant, Rahul, Ravi and Chote were arrested by the police from a trisection near the railway station last night, they said.
The arrested were wanted in more than a dozen cases of crimes, including loot, dacoity and murder, in the NCR region, SHO Loni Kotwali Gorakh Nath Yadav said.
Three motorcycles, Rs 1 lakh cash, one mobile phone, seven country-made pistols and several rounds of ammunition have been recovered from their possession, he said.
Upon interrogation, the criminals confessed to have robbed a bank in Mandola, looting Rs 3.5 lakh from a businessman near Bhopura after firing at his car, killing a person in Rampark area of Loni, among several other cases.

Previously, notorious Anil Painda and his gang members were lodged in jail, the officer said.
