National Archives of India, National Gallery of Modern Art and National Research Laboratory for Conservation of Cultural Property are all operating without a director general while the post of chairman is lying vacant at Sangeet Natak Akademi.
The post of chief executive officer of its National Culture Fund is also vacant, Culture and Tourism Minister Mahesh Sharma said in a written reply.
He also listed National Gallery of Modern Art, Bengaluru, National Gallery of Modern Art, Mumbai, Anthropological Survey of India and Lalit Kala Academy among 14 such bodies under the ministry which have a vacancy in the top post.
