The State Government Employees Joint Action Committee (SGEJAC) today demanded implementation of 7th Pay Commission recommendations for its employees in Jammu and Kashmir.
A deputation of SGEJAC called on Minister for Finance, Labour Employment and Culture Haseeb Drabu in this regard here today.
The deputation presented various demands before the minister, including implementation of 7th Pay Commission recommendations, removal of pay anomalies, regularisation of all daily wagers, release of dislocation allowance, increase in medical allowance, medi-claim policy for non-gazetted employees, restructuring of PSUs, issues related to State Forest Corporation (SFC) and others, an official spokesman said.
While interacting with the deputation, Drabu assured them that their genuine demands and grievances would be looked into and addressed accordingly.
He said the government is aware of the problems being faced by the employees and would be solved in a time bound manner.
The members of the delegation complimented the minister for ensuring zero pendency of the GP Fund claims and streamlining the functioning of the Funds Department.
