Shallow to moderate fog continues in UP

Shallow to moderate fog continued in large parts of Uttar Pradesh affecting normal life in the state.
Shallow to moderate fog occurred at few places while very dense fog at isolated places over the state since last night, MeT department officials said today.
Night temperatures rose in Varanasi division and changed little elsewhere, they said.
The temperature was appreciably above normal in Faizabad, Allahabad, Kanpur, Lucknow, Agra and Meerut divisions, above normal in Varanasi, Bareilly, Jhansi divisions, and were normal over the remaining divisions of the state, officials said.
Lowest minimum temperature was recorded at Etawah at 9.4 degree Celsius, they said.

The MeT department has predicted that dense fog is likely to occur at few places and very dense fog at isolated places in the morning and night.
