The Tamil Nadu based company, engaged in manufacturing of gears and gear products, had registered net profit at Rs 4.59 crore during same quarter of last fiscal, Shanthi Gears said in a statement.
For the nine month period ending December 31, 2016, net profit went upto Rs 16.35 crore from Rs 12.13 crore registered during year ago period.
Total income from operations for the October-December 31, 2016 quarter grew to Rs 51.15 crore from Rs 47.66 crore registered during year ago period.
The company's order book as on December 31, 2016 stands at Rs 116 crore compared to Rs 74 crore as of the same date of last year.
