It was another tough day for the golfers as they struggled to score and Sharmila's round one performance helped her retain her lead.
On day two, she returned with a score of six-over 78 and had a total score of 154 at the end of the second round. She carded three birdies on the sixth, 15th and 16th holes and has a single shot lead over Vani Kapoor, who made a remarkable comeback to finish second after round two.
Local girl Neha Tripathi also had a much better outing today, as she returned with a decent four-over 76 to end round two at third position with total score of 157.
Smriti Mehra had another disappointing day at the office, as she finished at fourth position with a second round score of 80 and a total score of 160.
Preetinder Kaur, Shweta Galande and Nikki Ponappa are tied at fifth position with identical scores of 161.
