Sharmila Nicollet turned in her best round of the week at two-under 70, improving significantly to finish Tied-16 in the Ladies Hong Kong Open.
Nicollet, who has been dividing her time between Ladies Asian Tour, the Ladies European Tour and the China Tour, birdied sixth, eighth, 14th and 18th and dropped shots on 13th and 15th as she ended the week at 1-under 215.
Vani Kapoor (71) also improved from T-48 to T-29 as she finished the week at 2-over 218 with rounds of 76-71-71.
Thailand's Lagkulgasettrin Saranporn produced a stunning 8-under 64 on the final day and rose from T-12 to the top. She shot 64 and finished at 11-under 205 to set the clubhouse target.
Later Chen Szu Han (69) also got to 11-under 205. In the play-off the Thai golfer won the title.
She earlier had a seven birdies in a row and her eight birdies came in a nine-hole run from sixth to 14th. The rest were pars.
