The actress hired Zuma Canyon Construction in 2013 to preside over a major remodelling of her Beverly Hills house, but is now taking legal action over the allegedly shoddy work.
The 57-year-old actress took on the company to redo her master bedroom, master bathroom, kitchen and powder room at an estimated cost of USD 225,000, but she claims in her lawsuit that they messed up a lot of the tasks, reported TMZ.
Stone is upset that the controls for her heated flooring were installed in the shower, meaning they were exposed to water intrusion.
The "Casino" star also claimed the contractor didn't obtain city permits to carry out much of the work.
She is suing the company and other subcontractors for unspecified damages.
