The 75-year-old actor, who has given superhits like 'Deewar', 'Kabhie Kabhie', 'Namak Halaal', 'Kaala Patthar' amongst others, is being honoured for his contribution to the Indian film industry.
The hand print tile will be unveiled on Saturday at Prithvi Theatre for UTV Stars 'Walk of the Stars'. The tile will later be installed at Walk of the Stars promenade at Bandstand, Bandra.
"We are extremely humbled and touched with this gesture. This hand print will symbolize his contribution to the Indian film industry. And it's an honour for me to be able to launch my father's tile in his presence. He's been one of the most popular star of his time and will be remembered that way," said son Kunal.
