Sheila assures civic body cleaning staff of help

Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit today assured the cleaning staff of all civic bodies that the government will do everything possible to ensure their welfare.
Sympathizing with them, she said that they have a right to be regularized at their jobs and added the government will consider their demands and take appropriate action.
Addressing a gathering of cleaning staff, she said the corporations must fulfill their responsibilities by providing them better service condition and certainty of their jobs.
She complained the corporations have not been utilizing the funds meant for their welfare and spending them on different heads.
