"We have received Rs 8.10 crore as donations from the devotees in the cash boxes (in the shrine) in these 11 days. Moreover, donations worth Rs 29.69 lakh were sent online and Rs 3.24 crore were received from donation counters," Shirdi Saibaba Sansthan Trust's (SSST) chief accounts officer Dilip Zirpe said.
SSST managed the Shridi shrine.
"Besides this, gold ornaments of 1 kg and 213 gram worth Rs 27.63 lakh and silver ornaments weighing 15 kgs worth Rs 5.40 lakh were received in the hundi (donation box), he added.
Meanwhile, as on date, SSST is having treasure deposit of Rs 1,535 crore kept in different nationalised banks and 386 kg gold and 4127 kg silver.
