Shiv Lingam installed at Durga Nag temple

Kashmiri Pandits today installed Shiv Lingam on Durga Nag temple premises here amidst chants of Vedic hymns.
"Shiv Abhishek (installation of Shiv Lingam) in the Holy spring of Durga Nag temple was performed as per the traditional Vedic rituals on the occasion of Ram Navmi and Dussehra," secretary of Durga Nag Trust Murarji Kaul said.
He said below the main temple, the Holy spring with original arcs, more than 700 years old, has been discovered recently by the devotees of Shree Mata Durga Nag Sewa Dal.
Kaul said the renovation work of the temple has been started recently.
