Shiv Sena's Anita Gauri becomes first leader of house in TMC

Shiv Sena corporator and lawyer Anita Gauri was today appointed as the leader of the house in the Thane Municipal Corporation.
She would be the first woman to hold this post in TMC.
The position became vacant following the election of Naresh Mhaske as the chairman of standing committee last week.
Mayor Sanjay More and others congratulated Gauri on her appointment.
