Shoppers Stop bestowed with five prestigious awards

Retail chain Shoppers Stop today said it has been bestowed with five prestigious awards in various categories, including energy conservation.
In honour of Shoppers Stop's work in Energy Conservation, it has been conferred the Energy Efficiency Initiative Award at the Global Green Leadership Awards - 2014 hosted by the World CSR Congress, the company said in a release.
This award recognises the energy management initiatives undertaken by Shoppers Stop as part of its "3 R Effort"- To Reduce, Reuse & Recycle, it added.
Shoppers Stop said at the World HRD Congress, it received two awards for the Best Coaching Organisation of the Year and the Best Organisational Leadership Development Programme in recognition of its various HR practices, coaching programmes and assessment centres.

The company said at the Asia Manufacturing Supply Chain Summit, it received the Supply Chain Leadership and Strategy Award, and the Best Supply Chain Initiative of the Year award.
Shoppers Stop said it is one amongst the numerous Indian companies, across sectors, to be honored for its Supply Chain Management.
