Show cause notice served for skipping election duty

Show cause notices have been issued by Kendrapara district election office in Odisha against 47 government officials who skipped poll duty, official sources said today.
The officials have been directed to report for poll duty in the next 48 hours, Kendrapara Collector Nitin Bhanudas Jawale said.
In the event they failed to do so, non-bailable warrants would be served to them, he added.
