"The departments of Tourism, Education, Khadi and Village industries board, Mission conversions, Delhi parks and garden society, Social Welfare, Women and Child Development, Health and Information and Publicity have been instructed to participate at the Delhi pavilion according to the theme," said a Delhi government official.
The Chief Secretary today held a review meeting with all the departmental heads in this regard during which it was also decided that "Delhi Day" will be celebrated on November 19 during the trade fair, scheduled from Nov 14 to 27 at Pragati Maidan.
A cultural program will be also be organized by the Art & Culture Department and Sahitya Kala Parishad on this occasion apart from an exhibition of rare photographs of women entrepreneurs since 1947.
Terming it as "a matter of prestige" for Delhi, the Chief Secretary also asked the concerned departments to designate nodal officers for better coordination for the event.
