Ali would also be the Editor-in-Chief, Podhigai News Bulletin, a press release said.
During his over three decade career, Ali held various responsibilities, including Chief Public Relations Officer, Andhra Pradesh Police.
He also served All India Radio and Doordarshan as Editor, News, at various stations.
Ali started his career in 1983 as an Assitant Editor, Sainik Samachar, an armed forces journal published by the Directorate of Public Relations, Defence, New Delhi, the release added.
