The world No. 10 female shuttler entered into the new association after deciding to not renew her two-year-old contract with Yonex.
The deal means Sindhu will be wearing the logo of Li Ning from tomorrow at the ongoing All India Senior Ranking Tournament in Kochi.
"We are happy with the deal. It is a two-year contract. Adidas has not been in constant touch with us after the Super Series tournament in New Delhi and moreover they are yet to launch the product. Li Ning is more experienced. They are as good as Yonex," Sindhu's father Pusarla Venkata Ramana said.
Sidhu, on her part, added: "I am very happy with Li Ning products and I hope to do well with their equipments.
