The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has been slammed by many Bollywood stars, owing to its decision of cutting scenes in films like "NH 10" and "Dum Laga Ke Haisha" to shortening a kiss in "Spectre".
The panel, which will submit its report in two months, also includes film-maker Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra, Piyush Pandey and film critic Bhawana Somaaya. National Film Development Council managing director Nina Lath Gupta and joint secretary (films) Sanjay Murthy will also be part of the committee.
Kabir becomes the latest celebrity to praise the government's decision after stars like Farhan Akhtar, Anupam Kher and Onir.
