SIA announces spl fares for 3 New Zealand getaways

Southeast Asian carrier Singapore Airlines today announced special economy class fares starting Rs 72,000 from 11 Indian cities to three key New Zealand getaways -- Auckland, Christchurch and Wellington -- for a limited period.
The special fares are available on sale till October 22 for the period between November 1 and December 6 and also for February 14, 2017 to June 30, 2017, Singapore Airlines said in a statement.
Passenger flying Singapore Airlines and Silkair's flights from 11 Indian cities can avail an all-inclusive, return fares starting Rs 72,000 per person subject to a minimum of two customers booking and travelling together, it said.

The cities covered under the special fare offer are Mumbai, Delhi, Bengaluru, Chennai, Ahmedabad, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Kochi, Trivandrum, Coimbatore and Visakhapatnam, the airline said.
Besides, travellers can redeem a complimentary 20 Singaporean dollar Changi Dollar Voucher for use at all participating shops, restaurants and lounges when they transit at Singapore's Changi Airport, it said, adding Indian fliers can also avail one-way, visa-free transit facility for up to 96 hours in Singapore with a valid onward ticket and visa.
The transit visa will be provided at the discretion of the immigration authorities, the airline said.
