"There have been considerable gaps in the resources required for desired infrastructure creation and those available," the governor told the the third convocation of NERIST at Nirjuli.
The governor, who is also the president of NERIST Society, said that the institute was committed to comply with the requirements and continually improve the effectiveness of the quality management systems. It was also committed for the personality development of the students for their successful and bright future.
"Individual success, however desirable and coveted, is not enough by itself. They have to be socially useful, innovative and have multi-disciplinary approach to make themselves, their families and state and country proud," he said.
