Similarly, the white metal for delivery in far-month July traded higher by Rs 153 or 0.40% to Rs 38,127 per kg in business volume of just one lot.

Analysts attributed the rise in silver prices at futures trade to a firming trend in the precious metal overseas as dollar's safe-haven appeal weakened while china said it will boost efforts to mend the economy.

Globally, silver traded 0.77% higher at $15.63 an ounce in New York yesterday.
