Sistema JSFC to bring 'Acoola' kids retail outlets to India

Russian conglomerate Sistema JSFC in association with Saamag Group is planning to bring 'Acoola' branded kids retail outlets to India.
Acoola is a clothing, footwear, and accessories brand for kids aged between 2-14 years in Russia and is coming to India through Sistema JSFC's subsidiary company Concept Group, a statement said.
The company is planning to open at least 10 stores in India over the next one year, it added.
Commenting on the development Concept Group CEO Emin Rustamov said: "With over 260 Acoola stores already operational in Russia, the company has now drawn extensive plans to go international, with India being one of the key markets for the brand."
The first would be opened at Noida and at least 10 stores will be opened by the end of 2018 across Delhi, Mumbai and Bengaluru, the statement said.
Besides, the company has also plans to tap the ecommerce platforms like Myntra, Jabong etc.
Headquartered in Moscow, Sistema Joint Stock Financial Corporation of Russia (SISTEMA JSFC) is one of the largest conglomerates in Russia and has business interests in a range of sectors including telecommunications, utilities, retail, high tech, pharmaceuticals, healthcare, railway transportation, agriculture, finance, mass media and tourism.
The consolidated revenues of the group as in 2016 stood at approximately USD 12 billion.
