Six child labourers rescued

Six child labourers were
rescued from commercial units here, police said today.
They were freed yesterday during raids on six such units by police, Station House Officer (SHO) of Sadar police station Ajit Singh Meghwanshi said.
The minors were produced before the Child Welfare Committee and handed over to their parents.
The proprietors of the commercial units -- Chandra Singh, Babulal Bilochi, Hansraj Dhakar, Rajendra Nagar, Chatram Dhakar -- were booked under sections of the Prevention of Child Labor Act and arrested, the officer said.
