Mathur said Kent Police Station Night Officer, Sub-Inspector Bhola Prasad Rastogi was found sleeping at his home instead of being present at the police station yesterday morning, the report prepared by a team led by IPS officer Akash Tomar said.
Karnailganj Police Station Sub-Inspector Sarvesh Singh was absent during duty hours and Bekan Gunj head constable Braj Raj and constables Brahm Kumar, Ravindra Kumar and Bachhu Lal were also found absent from their police stations, the report said.
"Such surprise inspection would continue in other police stations as well," the SSP said.
