The incident happened at Rasalpur village when siblings Suraj Kumar and Jyoti Kumari, and their cousin Ankit aged between 10 and 13 years slipped and fell into deep waters while immersing an idol, Kako Block Development Officer, Navkunj Kumar said.
No adults were accompanying the children, he said.
In another incident, three women drowned while washing clothes, police said.
The incident happened at Kevaal village under the jurisdiction of Gidhaur police station in the district, the police said.
A 40-year-old woman, Ramvati had gone to a pond to wash clothes along with her daughter Sulekha Kumari (18) and another villager Seema Kumari (18), officer-in-charge of Gidhaur police station, Brajesh Kumar said.
