Six persons were arrested near here today and six kg of suspected Iridium metal seized, a top police official said today.
A 38-year-old man filed a complaint against nine persons stating that they took Rs 30,000 from him, promising that they would give 'Iridium'.
However, when they did not turn up he approached the police.
Six persons were arrested and suspected Iridium seized from them, police said.
A search is on for three others who are absconding, Godavarikhani Assistant Commissioner of Police (Law & Order) Rakshitha said.
