Six injured in clash over eve-teasing in UP

Six persons here were taken injured after a clash broke out between two groups over alleged eve-teasing of a girl at Sanjak village in Shahpur area, police said today.
The incident occurred last night when one Mohammad Hasan confronted Walisha Hasan over the alleged eve teasing of his daughter. Later they were joined by others, leading to a group clash, they said.
The warring groups indulged in brickbats and also used sharp weapons during the clash, they added.
The injured have been identified as Mohammad Hasan, Islam, Mohammad Asif, Mohammad Naeem, Arshad and Yusuf, and they have been admitted to hospital, police said.
Security has been tightened in the area, police added.
