Six inmates shifted from Muzaffarnagar district jail

Six inmates have been shifted from the district jail here following a clash between two groups of prisoners last month.
According to jail superintendentRakesh Singh, the inmates have been transferred to jails in Sitapur, Pilibhit, Gonda, Faizabad and Rae Bareilly.
He said the step was taken after a clash between two groups of prisoners in the district jail on April 15 that left several inmates injured.
