Six of a family in UP consume poison

Six members of a family, including four children, allegedly consumed poison in Nanhera village here, the police said today.

The victims have been identified as Manoj Kumar, his wife Sangita and their four children, they said, adding the incident was reported yesterday.

All of them were rushed to a district hospital where their condition is stated to be stable, the police said.

The matter is being investigated, they added.
