Skipper Ltd on Tuesday said it has commissioned the JV plant with Israeli drip irrigation company Metzer India LLP in Hyderabad.
"The first phase of the project includes an investment of Rs 20 crore, with a projected expenditure of Rs 130 crore in a decade," a joint statement said here.
The 2.50-acre facility has an annual manufacturing capacity of 880 lakh meters per annum of various drip and sprinkler irrigation products, it said.
The plant is strategically located in Hyderabad to serve the potential markets in India, the statement added.
