Skipper signs MoU to offer plumbing training to 10,000 youths

Skipper Ltd, which forayed into polymer pipes apart from power transmission & distribution structures, today signed a MoU with Indian Plumbing Skill Council to train 10,000 youths in the field of plumbing.
"We see it as an essential part of our corporate philosophy to offer training and develop skilled labor thus enabling many young people to get a head start in their careers," Skipper director Devesh Bansal said in a statement.
Skipper has established a cumulative production capacity of 48,000 MTPA. By 2019, it aims to raise the manufacturing capacity to 1,00,000 MTPA, company sources said.
