The Company has decided to revise the ticket size of loan to be extended to its borrowers with effect from December 7, 2015, it said in a regulatory filing.
Under this, loans up to 52 weeks tenure will have a maximum ticket size of Rs 30,000 and loans up to 104 weeks tenure will have a maximum ticket size of Rs 50,000.
"The revision in the ticket size is likely to have a positive impact on the disbursements/credit take-off and the operating cost structure.
The decision follows RBI's November circular that advised all NBFC-MFIs that limit of the loan amount for which the tenure is not less than 24 months was raised to Rs 30,000- from the previous limit of Rs 15,000.
