Small sugar ends mixed in listless trade

A mixed trend was noticed in small sugar prices on the Vashi wholesale market here today due to uneven demand and supply transactions.
Medium sugar variety continued its steady trend owing to ample supply against scattered demand.
Small sugar (S-30) was quoted at Rs 2,766/2,905 per qintal as compared to yesterday's close of Rs 2,762/2,911.
Following are today's closing rates for sugar (per quintal) with the previous rates given in brackets:
Small sugar (S-30) quality: Rs 2,766/2,905 (Rs 2,762/2,911).
Medium sugar (M-30) quality: Rs 2,931/3,062 (Rs 2,931/3,062).
