Small sugar prices end mixed

Small sugar prices ended mixed at the Vashi wholesale market here today on alternate bouts of buying and selling.
Medium sugar ruled steady in the absence of any worthwhile buying activity.
Small sugar (S-30) was quoted at Rs 2,902/3,090 per quintal.
Following are today's closing rates for sugar (per quintal) with the previous rates given in brackets:
Small sugar (S-30) quality: Rs 2,902/3,090 (Rs 2,912/3,080).
Medium sugar(M-30) quality: Rs 3,066/3,252 (Rs 3,066/3,252).
